This global leader engineers and manufactures complex mechanical systems for civil and defence programmes. A new opportunity has arisen for a permanent Supplier Quality Assurance Lead to be based in Wolverhampton or France
Specific focus on coordinating Supplier Quality Assurance with sites` Quality and Supply Chain teams. You will support the definition and implementation of Supplier Quality Assurance processes. Ensures coordination of actions required between the Sites Supplier Quality Assurance Managers and teams, Supply Chain Leadership and Value Stream Leadership. Communicates progress of Suppliers Quality Performance initiatives to the Leadership Team.
Ideally you will have a degree in an appropriate discipline + experience in Production, Quality, Engineering with experience in significant improvements projects using 6 sigma. Understands all aspects of managing and assuring supplier quality to achieve best-in-class supplier quality, delivering and service. Understands problem solving methods - i.e. 8D, root cause analysis and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems. Experience leading major projects or several smaller projects simultaneously. Travel across various group sites will be required. Your quality experience could be in aerospace, automotive, medical, pharmaceutical or a precision engineering sector.
