Tommy Kaira Nissan GT-R R35 Ebbrezza-R Premieres at Tokyo Auto Salon

Not surprisingly, the Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 was packed with tuning proposals for Nissan's scorching hot GT-R R35. Among the new offerings that made their debut at Japan's equivalent of the SEMA Show is Tommy Kaira's long awaited Ebbrezza-R sports package with styling and performance upgrades.

On the outside, there's a new aero kit trimmed in carbon fiber that includes a redesigned front bumper with a lip spoiler, side skirts, rear wheel arch add-ons, a rear wing and a beefier rear diffuser along with an underspoiler.

Tommy Kaira's package also includes a new set of 20-inch multispoke alloy wheel wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires size 255/40 ZR20 up front and 285/35 ZR20 at the back.

A lot of work has been performed in the cabin that has been clothed in a combination of red Alcantara and burgundy-colored, hand-stitched leather trim with contrasting white seams.

A pair of black Recaro bucket seats, unique floor mats and heaps of carbon fiber decorative trim round off the interior upgrades.

To be completely honest though, we can't say that we find Tommy Kaira's color and material choices even remotely tasteful...

There's not a lot going on under the sheetmetal as the Japanese tuner's offerings are limited to a sport titanium exhaust system, high-performance brakes and a sports suspension kit.

Tommy Kaira Makes the Honda Insight Hybrid a Little Bit More Interesting to Look at

The new Honda Insight hybrid is one of those vehicles that makes us wonder if the team responsible for its styling fell asleep during the design stage. Tommy Kaira has tried to address this "problem" by developing a new sport package for the Japanese hybrid.

The tuner's offerings includes an aero kit that is also available in carbon-fiber trim and comprises of a front spoiler, a new grille, side skirts and a rear apron with an integrated diffuser that can optionally house four tail-pipes for an all-show, no-go appearance.

The package can be rounded off with new 15- or 16-inch alloy wheels, a sport suspension that lowers the car by 30 to 35mm and various other accessories and parts such as sport seats, sill plates etc.

Eco-Tuning: Tommy Kaira Spruces Up 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid

Just in time for next month's Tokyo Auto Salon 2010, Japanese tuning house Tommy Kaira has finalized its aero and performance offerings for the latest generation Toyota Prius hybrid. We've been following the development of Tommy Kaira's sports package since September when the company released a set computer enhanced images, but now we've got the real deal.

Exterior appointments come in the form of new alloy wheels in sizes 16- and 18-inches, and an aggressive aero kit with parts that are available in carbon fiber, painted in the same color as the car or in a matte black finish.

The bodykit includes a front spoiler, grille trim, decorative trim for the front bumper, side skirts, roof spoiler and a rear apron with an integrated diffuser that houses four tail pipes.

Tires and alloys aside, performance mods are limited to a new brake system, a sports suspension that brings the car a few centimeters closer to the ground and a sports exhaust system.

Other available upgrades include illuminated Toyota logos, a sports steering wheel, specific floor mats, and HID and LED lights.
