2012 Renault Koleos Facelift Inspires Gordini Rendering

Even though Renault’s revival of the Gordini badge has left a bitter taste to fans of the famous nameplate, the French carmaker’s decision to use the brand for upscale versions of its vehicles has proved to be successful with almost two-thirds of Twingo Renaultsport models sold in Europe and one third, in the case of Clio Renaultsport being Gordinis.

Renault Koleos Crossover Concept Video

A promotional, animated video from Renault featuring it's Koleos crossover Concept which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The Koleos foreshadows the shape of Renault's future 4WD range and is due to be marketed in the first half of 2008. According to the people I talked to at the Renault stand, the Koleos Concept is based on the Nissan Qashqai platform. Like it's Japanese counterpart, the Koleos will be available in two-wheel or four-wheel drive mode thanks to an electronically controlled active coupler. The concept is powered by a 2.0 dCi engine with a 6speed gearbox.
