Video: Jay Kay’s Day Off at Ferrari's Headquarters

Ferris Bueller might have borrowed his father’s 250 GT California to indulge himself for a day, but Jamiroquai’s lead singer, Jay Kay, can indulge in a Ferrari any day – and twice on Sundays.

You see, Jay Kay spends his hard-earned money on cars. Especially those vehicles with the prancing horse adorning their bonnet. And he’s got lots of them – both cash and Ferraris.

Therefore, when he shows up at Maranello, he is treated more than a VIP, a celebrity or a valued customer: he gets treated like all three together.

Magnifico! Ferrari Brings F40 and 599 GTB Together for a Whimsical Duel

From time to time, automakers manage to overcome their crippling fear of being creative and actually produce something that's original and interesting for viewers. The video you're about to see is one such rare example.

Titled "Duel for the Crown – Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano", the short video, which is close to 4 minutes-long, shows Maranello's modern V12-powered gran turismo going up against the classic and still beautiful F40 that was built in limited numbers from 1987 to 1992.

Hop over the break to enjoy the clip and don't forget to power up the volume of your speakers...

VIDEO: Track Action with the Ferrari F40 LM

The heavy snowfalls paralyzing most of the northern hemisphere are just another reminder that enthusiasts will have to wait a bit until they’ll be able to enjoy their cars on the track again. In the meantime, let us provide some driving “medicine” in the form of a video that shows the Ferrari F40 LM racecar driven by former F1 driver Jacques Lafitte. Don't forget to turn up the volume to properly enjoy the video available after the break.

Pontiac Fiero Goes All Ferrari F40

Is there some sort of underground movement in Germany we don’t know about devoted to converting Pontiac Fiero’s into shoddy Ferrari knockoffs? Is this a new national pastime over there or a devious ploy by Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Audi to discredit their Italian competitors?

Whatever you may think, the Fiero-based Ferrari replica is here to stay. And, much like David Hasslehoff, there’s nowhere these things are more popular than in Germany. At least, that’s the impression that I get. Presumably built in Belgium (as it is registered there), this replica has 71,000 km (44,154 miles) on the clock, a manual transmission and a whopping 123 hp. That’s only 349 hp short of a real F40!

It Came From Japan: Ferrari F40 Stretch Limousine

Pop quiz, hot shot; what’s better than a replica Ferrari F40? If you said an actual Ferrari F40, then you are dead wrong. The correct answer is a replica Ferrari F40 limousine. Fortunately (for us), such things actually exist.

So where would one find such an automotive monstrosity? In Japan, of course! You know, the country that brought us the Mitsuoka Orochi, melon flavored chocolate and a pillow shaped like a kneeling woman’s lap.

6,000 Square Foot Malibu Home Offered with Ferrari F40 in its Garage

Since the housing market decided to collapse, people have been luring buyers into their properties with incentives. Vahe Hagopian, a listing agent in Malibu, even offered up his Ferrari to try to make a sale.

If someone were to buy his client's house (6,000 square feet, $4.4 million), he'd throw in a classic Ferrari F40 to sweeten the deal. Hagopian says, "Nothing is moving in this area. It's unprecedented."

Ferrari F40 - Suzuki Replica For Sale...

It looks like James Glickenhaus isn't the only one interested in creating unique Ferrari's, but this guy took it the other way around creating a Ferrari F40 transvestite from a 1980's Suzuki SC 100 GX De Luxe model !

This Ferrari replica was found in a Ducth used car site. In the add, the seller quotes "this unique car is retrofitted with a pumped up Ford Escort engine". So adding it up we have a Suzuki SC 100 GX De Luxe model that wears a Ford Escort engine and looks like a Ferrari F40. Go figure...

But if you're still interested, you can visit the site here: Marktplaats. By the way, the cars selling price is 2.750 Euros or about 3.500 USD. It seems that the prancing horse on the hood helped this Suzuki retain its value throughout the years…
